DeHood is looking for Server Side Software Engineers who are obsessed with delivering the best user experience possible. They will be part of a fast growing start-up environment with schedules which are measured in days not weeks as this space is highly competitive. They need strong skills in application and server-side development which will help architect and build DeHood web and mobile products.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly innovative products and contribute to the overall success of the company.
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
• Exploring and implementing new technologies
• Work closely with product management and other engineering members

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-5+ years experience
• Strong experience in web technologies (Javascript/HTML/CSS/AJAX and JQuery) and comfortable with Unix/Linux
• Excellent programming skills in Java, PHP or Python
• Understanding of MySQL database
• Ability to execute extremely fast on tasks
• Strong communication and documentation skills
